Certified food quality and safety
We are fully committed to food quality and safety through the implementation of international certifications, rigorous systems and internal procedures in our factory. These standards are regularly audited by independent third-party organizations as well as by our customers.
The quality management system is based on the ISO 9001 standard.
The HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) system is applied in all our plant activities, ensuring strict control of health risks.
In addition, poultry feed is certified as Authentic Certified Free-Range Chicken.
Evaluation and management of ingredients and suppliers
We ensure that only healthy, safe and sustainable raw materials are used for the production of feed for land and aquaculture animals. This is based on standardized procedures for evaluating and managing combinations of ingredients, manufacturers, and suppliers.
Only previously approved combinations of ingredients, manufacturers and suppliers are allowed to be used by SICA.
Monitoring and Traceability
Monitoring and traceability ensure a smooth and efficient exchange of information between SICA, its suppliers, and its customers.
We have implemented our own traceability management system, capable of tracing each batch of food back to its raw materials. This system reliably records all ingredients, production processes and deliveries, providing full transparency on the supply chain.
Thanks to this system, information is quickly available, both upstream and downstream, which is essential to react effectively in the event of a product recall. Our traceability system not only meets current regulatory requirements in force, but also takes into account the specific needs and expectations of our customers.
Supervision and Control
SICA implements a harmonized, detailed and rigorous control program, which covers the monitoring of nutritional criteria and undesirable substances from raw materials to finished products.
Ingredients and foods are analysed according to standardized analytical procedures and defined frequencies, exclusively by local approved laboratories such as the New Caledonia Laboratory (LNC), AGROCONTROL or national (Phytocontrol).
