Molasses

A liquid by-product from the extraction of cane sugar extraction, molasses is a rapidly assimilable source of energy. Rich in soluble sugars, it improves the palatability of rations and facilitates the consumption of fibrous foods. It is commonly used for feeding cattle, sheep, and horses.
